Nishith is currently positioned as an associate professor at Department of Life Sciences, HNG University, Patan (Gujarat)- India. Since 1996 he has been working mainly on large mammal ecology and biodiversity monitoring in India. He did his doctorate on the ecology and behavior of Asiatic lions. Since 2006 he has been doing research on sloth bears and currently he is the Co Chair of IUCN SSC Sloth bear Expert Team. Nishith is working toward collaborative capacity building programmes for wildlife conservation. Nishith aspires to elevate and direct the young researchers towards the conservation of wildlife and habitat. He is appointed as a member of State Board for Wildlife in Gujarat state by the chief minister of Gujarat.
Pratik is the youngest founder and the director of the WCB Research Foundation. He is a budding wildlife scientist mostly working on mammals especially small carnivores and sloth bear. He is a good wildlife rescuer and volunteering with several organisations for wildlife rescue. He studied Indian fox in his masters and completed his M.Sc. in Zoology. Currently he works as a Junior Project Fellow in WCB’s Sloth bear conservation outreach project in central Gujarat.
Ms Jahnvi is master of zoology worked on urban birds for her master thesis and currently working as Admin officer at WCB Research Foundation. She is good in communication and possesses good knowledge about avian biology.
Dr. Nuria is an Associate Professor at Poland Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences at Krakow, Poland. She is a biologist, PhD in animal ecology. Her field of interest is animal ecology, large carnivore conservation, brown bear ecology and conservation policies.
Dr. Sagarika is a Professor and Head of Life Sciences department at K.C. College, Mumbai. She is an active researcher in the field of plant sciences, especially plant biotechnology. She is a recipient of the "Best Teacher" award by Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi.
Dr. Rajesh Senma currently holds the position of Head of the Department of Zoology,
Government Science College Vankal, Surat (Gujarat). He holds a Doctorate from HNGU Patan specializing in the field of Ornithology. He is having experience of ten years of Undergraduate, and two years of experience in Post Graduate level teaching. He has also been serving as a member of the Board of Directors, AOZ Association of Zoologists. He has been invited as an expert in various census programs (Birds/Wild Ass/Sloth Bear) conducted by the Forest Department, Government of Gujarat.
Rushika Patel is associated as research associate with GBRC and working on multi-omic approach. She did Ph.D. in environmental microbiology from Nirma University. She is a active researcher in the field of bio sensing and biodegradation of pollutants in water and soil. She has keen interest and exploring conservation genetics.
Dr. Shivangi Mishra is a post doctoral associate at Arctic institute of North America,University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She has completed her Ph.D. from Biodiversity & amp; Wildlife Conservation Lab, Department of Zoology, University of Lucknow. She has four International and two National Awards and 24 research articles published in various National and International Journals.
