Nishith is currently positioned as an associate professor at Department of Life Sciences, HNG University, Patan (Gujarat)- India. Since 1996 he has been working mainly on large mammal ecology and biodiversity monitoring in India. He did his doctorate on the ecology and behavior of Asiatic lions. Since 2006 he has been doing research on sloth bears and currently he is the Co Chair of IUCN SSC Sloth bear Expert Team. Nishith is working toward collaborative capacity building programmes for wildlife conservation. Nishith aspires to elevate and direct the young researchers towards the conservation of wildlife and habitat. He is appointed as a member of State Board for Wildlife in Gujarat state by the chief minister of Gujarat.
Dr. Hardik is working for Wildlife conservation since 2010 and having teaching and research experience of more than 8 years. He is coordinating Snake, Bird and other wildlife rescue helpline in Patan and its surrounding area. He gave his services in birds and animals census organized by Forest Department.
Mr. Prasad Patil is a Range Forest Officer working in the forest department of Gujarat. Prasad has a vast experience in wildlife conservation and management, wildlife rescue and social forestry. He has been working in various forest areas of Gujarat state such as Dangs, Tapi, Rampura Grasslands and provided his expertise of forest management. Rediscovery of Indian Giant Flying Squirrel in Tapi district of Gujarat is on his credit.
Haresh is a founder member of WCB Research Foundation; He did his Doctorate on food resources used by Sloth bear and Humans at Shoolpaneshwer Wildlife Sanctuary, South Gujarat, India. He has completed his master of philosophy (MPhil) atHNG University and studied on the Evaluation of Sloth bear habitat in Jassore Wildlife Sanctuary, North Gujarat, India. He is having seven years of teaching experience in field of Botany especially in plant ecology and ethno botany. He is also associated with Earth Protectors, an NGO based in Patan, where he is giving his services as trustee and conducting environmental awareness programmes likewildlife rescue (snakes and birds), nature education camps and plantation of native plants in schools every year.
Pratik is the youngest founder and the director of the WCB Research Foundation. He is a budding wildlife scientist mostly working on mammals especially small carnivores and sloth bear. He is a good wildlife rescuer and volunteering with several organisations for wildlife rescue. He studied Indian fox in his masters and completed his M.Sc. in Zoology. Currently he works as a Junior Project Fellow in WCB’s Sloth bear conservation outreach project in central Gujarat.
Ms Jahnvi is master of zoology worked on urban birds for her master thesis and currently working as Admin officer at WCB Research Foundation. She is good in communication and possesses good knowledge about avian biology.
Dr. Nuria is an Associate Professor at Poland Institute of Nature Conservation, Polish Academy of Sciences at Krakow, Poland. She is a biologist, PhD in animal ecology. Her field of interest is animal ecology, large carnivore conservation, brown bear ecology and conservation policies.
Dr. Sagarika is a Professor and Head of Life Sciences department at K.C. College, Mumbai. She is an active researcher in the field of plant sciences, especially plant biotechnology. She is a recipient of the "Best Teacher" award by Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi.
Dr. Jagruti is an Associate ecologist at Gujarat Ecology Society (GES), Recognized as an Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner (CERP) by SER, Society for Ecological Restoration PhD in Avifauna of urban ecology.
Madhuri is an Assistant Professor of Zoology at K J Somaiya Institute of Science and Commerce. She is one of the alumni of WCB Training and the recipient of Best trainee's award. Her specialization is marine biology and oceanography.
Mr. M. S. Patel is an Associate Professor of political science at M N College, Visnagar. He is an eminent professor who has in-depth knowledge and appreciation of natural science and their application for human welfare. Mr. Patel is actively involved in reforestation and restoration of Taranga hill forest of Gujarat.
